Synthesis and Celebration

My first wall was offered to me by Isaias Crow, an amazing muralist based out of San Diego, California. After a year and a half of painting abstractions on my bedroom floor, I saw this wall as an opportunity to reflect and revel in all of my painterly explorations, which is why I decided to name it “Synthesis and Celebration.” It was about combining everything I had learn and put to practice along with celebrating the act of making of art, especially in a neighborhood like Barrio Logan where art is alive and thriving.
